Joseph Turner won the men’s race in 7:17:43, within 0.2% of the course best of 7:16:59. He came to Wendover Woods already a winner in 2025, having taken the Chiltern Wonderland 50 earlier in the year. Daniel Weller finished second in 7:41:01. Veronika Gill won the women’s race in 9:16:30, with Zoe Smith second in 9:30:35.

Weller’s second place adds to a record of finishing near the front elsewhere. He was third at the Lakeland 50 in 2025 and second at the North Downs Way 50 in 2022, so a podium here continues a pattern rather than breaking one.

Johnny Hesnan completed the men’s podium in 8:03:34. He had been second at the Arc of Attrition 50 in 2024, which makes two of the three men on this podium runners who had stood on one before.

Women made up 29 of the 183 finishers, and the middle of their race sat well behind the middle of the men’s. The median woman came home in 13:05:37 and the median man in 11:54:25. Each race was won hours ahead of its own middle, but the women’s field as a whole spent longer out on the course, and more of it was finishing in the last stretch of the day.
